The built-in Backup/Restore functionality allows you to ensure that your writing will not be lost. Although I've made every reasonable effort to ensure your data will not be corrupted or lost, accidents and the unexpected do happen.
You can get access to the Backup/Restore functionality from both the Novel Selection Screen:

You may backup and restore you writing at any time, but you should be aware of the following important points:
- Backup and Restore are manual, not automatic functions. You must do them yourself.
- Backup and Restore work on ALL your novels. There is no ability to backup or restore individual novels.
- Backup will replace any existing backup you may have with your current novels. That is there is only one backup copy.
- Restore will replace all of your current novels with the ones stored in your backup.
A successful backup will display the following alert: You must restart the app to allow Auteureist™ to use the restored information.
