The chapter-specific screens are accessed via the chapter-specific button bar.
Tapping on any of the buttons on this bar will take you to the appropriate screen, which is identical to the novel-wide screen, except the information displayed is specific to the selected chapter.
In other words, characters, locations, the timeline, etc. screens will only display information that occurs or is related to the selected screen.
The chapter-specific creation screens allow you to create items associated with the the selelcted chapter, but you should be aware that this information will not show up unless it actually occurs in the chapter text.
That is, if you create a character named "George" in the chapter-specific character creation screen, George will show up in the Novel Character Selection Screen, but not the character-specific Character Selection Screen, unless George actually shows up in the selected chapter.
