Any desktop application that supports a text import can be used to receive information from Auteureist™ via Email.
The general process is:
- From the Auterureist™ Synchronization & Export Screen, select all the items you want to transfer.
- Tap the Text button. This will launch the email app on your iPhone and exit Auteureist™.
- Change the email address being sent-to if you have not set it up in the Auteureist™ Settings (Auteureist™ will use the email configured as its default, but you can always override this in the email.
- You can edit the content of the message but DO NOT MODIFY THE SPECIAL EMBEDDED TAGS. That is, be careful in changing only what you wrote originally, and not what Auteureist™ added in order to get the export to work.
- Send your email and retrieve it on your desktop machine.
- On your desktop machine, save your received email as a text document.
- On your desktop, launch the application into which you want to import the data.
- From application's File menu, select Import... or Import Text... See your specific application's documentation on importing.
- Select the email file you saved.
