The Synchronization & Export Screen is where you manage transferring your writing to and from other sources.
Currently AUteureist™ supports the following methods:
- Export via emai in the following formats (the email configured in the Auteureist™ Settings will be used by default):

- MultiMarkdown - This is a simplified version and is applicable for transferring your writing to programs such as Scrivener.
- Plain text - This is applicable for transferring your writing to programs that support plain text importing such as Ulysses and most other word processors.

- Cut, Copy, and Paste to other applications running iPhone OS 3.0 or later. This is applicable to transferring your writing via MobleMe and other iPhone apps.

- Wireless import and export via Auteureist™ Sync desktop app (fully-paid version only.) Tap the syncronization button on the bottom right to enter wireless mode.

- Exporting via a web browser for archiving purposes.
See the appropriate section of this documentation for specific information on how to use these features.
Future releases will support other formats.
Tapping the Writing button will return you to the Writing Selection Screen.
The screen consists of switches that allow you toggle which parts of your novel will be exported. You can only export the selected novel. There is no way to export all of your novels at once. Some switches may be disabled depending on the object you are trying to sync or export. Additionally, some switches may be disabled because they require in-app purchase of certain features.
Once you have selected the information to transfer, tap one of the following buttons.
- Envelope button for email exports. This will transfer your information by creating an email in the proper format.
- MMD - MultiMarkdown .
- Text - Plain text.
- Cloud button for Web Export. This will create a database and swtich to the Web Export Screen. This can take a while.
- Antenna button for wireless sync via Auteureist™ Sync, the desktop application.
NOTE: Auteureist™ does not currently tranfer the actual photographs of Photograph Notes or Voice notes. It does transfer the title and note.
NOTE: Exporting via Email, Wirelessly, Web Export, or using MobileMe exchange assumes network connectivity and a MobileMe account if MobileMe is chosen.
Tapping the Envelope button allows you to export via email in both MultiMarkdown and plain text formats.
Tapping the Cloud button will generate a database (this can take several minutes depending on how much data you have) and then display the Web Export Screen.
