The About Screen displays the VisualNewt Software logo and the Auteureist™ version number. There are also links to the Auteureist™ in-app purchase store and various websites which will open in the iPhone's Safari web browser.
A button labeled "Clean" will go through your writing database and compress and clean it up. This will conserve space on your iPhone and make things run a little faster. Across from teh "Clean" button, a label shows you the current size of your writing database. NOTE: Cleaning can take a few minutes.
The bottom bar has several buttosn:
- The Shopping Cart - This will take you to the in-app purchase store.
- The Web Browser Button - Tapping this button will bring up a menu of various sites you can visit. This will launch Safari.
- The Dialogue Button - Tapping this will launch the Auteureist mobile webpage (allows you to submit bug reports and a few other things.) in Safari
- The Lifepreserver (Help) Button - Tapping this will take you to the Autereist documentation on the main site.
NOTE: These functions require network connectivity. These functions will exit Auteureist™ and launch the Safari web browser on your devide.
Tapping the Web Browser button will bring up this menu which allows you to go to either the VisualNewt or Auteureist™ home page in Safari.
