Tapping the iPhone's Settings icon will take you to this screen. Depending on how many other applications you have installed, you may need to scroll down to find the Auteureist™ settings. Tap the entry to go to the Auteureist™ Settings Screen.

These are the Auteureist™ settings. They are global in nature (independant or novel.).
  1. You can enter an export email address. This will be used to export your writing via email.
  2. You can optionally enter an email to post to using Posterous.com, if you have a posterous.com blog. This should be your posting address.
  3. You can optionally enter an email to post to using Tumblr.com, if you have a tumblr blog. This should be your posting email address, not your account email.
  4. You can optionally rename "Novel" to something else. If you do more script writing than novel writing, you may want to rename this to "Script"
  5. You can optionally rename "Chapter" to something else. If you do more script writing than novel writing, you may want to rename this to "Scene".

NOTE: Renaming Novel and Chapter will change all reference in Auteureist™ to use the new terminology. This is a program-wide setting.

Once you are satisfied with your settings, hit the iPhone's home button.

If you scroll down below the content labels, you will see sections for:

  1. Twitter name and password for posting to Twitter.
  2. Accessibility control
    • Network Functions- disable all network functions used by Auteureist™. This may be useful if you continually try to use the app in marginal areas.
    • Location Functions- disable all location functions. This will disable location and weather lookups in the Journal's lifestream functionality as well as Map Links in the Research Screen.
