Auteureist™ is integrated with TextExpander touch from Smile On My Mac.
TextExpander touch is an app (that you must purchase separately) which allows you to assign shortcuts to strings (create macros). Whenever you type a shortcut, the assigned text is automatically inserted as a replacement. (It can save you typing.)
For example, you can assign the string:
Autueriest™ is cool!
to the shortcut Cool!
So whenever you type 'Cool!' in your chapter it will instead type 'Autuereist™ is cool!'
In order to use TextExpander capabilities in Autuereist™ you must:
- Purchase and install TextExpander touch.
- Within the actual TextExpander touch app
- Enable Snippet Sharing in the settings.
- Create the snippets you wish to use. Refer to the TextExpander touch documentation.
Now any time you type a shortcut (snippet) into the Chapter Text Editing Screen of Autuereist™, it will be expanded into the corresponding text you defined.
