The Chapter Creation Screen allows you to create a new chapter and specify its details.
- Enter the title for the chapter.
- Use the slider or tap the word count to set the chapter-specific target word count. Each chapter can have a different target word count, and these are independent of the overall novel target word count.
- You can optionally specify a timeline for this chapter by tapping the appropriate button. This timeline is independent of any other chapter timeline or the timeline of the overall novel.
- Add a note specific to this chapter.
- A new chapter defaults to being In Progress, but you can override this to Done if you wish. This setting determines the color status bubble on the Chapter Selection Screen.
- The time worked label keeps track of the total time you have been working on this particular chapter. This is displayed in yy:mm:dd:hh:mm:ss format.
Tap the Save button to create the chapter, or Cancel to abort creation and to return to the Chapter Selection Screen.
