Autuereist™ is integrated with a synonyms thesausurus provided by http://wwww.sysnonyms.net.
NOTE: The thesaurus function requires internet connectivity.
NOTE: The thesaurus works best when you select the root word rather than a mofified version ("confess" rather than "confessing").
You access the thesaurus from within the Chapter Text Editing Screen.
- At any point in your typing, copy a word for which you would like to find a synonym.
- Tap the Keyboard button to hide the keyboard. The label on the button will change to "Lookup". If it does not, then you have not copied a word or you have no connectivity to the internet. Tap the Lookup button to access the thesaurus.
- A progress indicator will be displayed while Autuereist™ contacts the remote site.
- If the lookup succeeds, you will be shown the thesaurus entries for your selected word.
- Select the entry you wish to use as a replacement for the original word (or back out of the screen to cancel). Your selection will replace your original word in the text of your chapter at the point of the original copy.
Your original word is the title of this screen.
The main portion of the screen is grouped by part of the language (verb, adjective, noun, etc.) (NOTE: Not all words will have all groups.)
Each group has an entry plus its definition in a smaller font under the entry.
NOTE: If no entries are displayed, try going back and selecting the root word, rather than a modified one.
