Auteureist™ 1.2 introduces preliminary support for blogs.
Blogs are created by tapping the “+” button on the Writing Selection Screen
Blogs are indicated by a Blog group and have a brown bubble.
Tapping the “+” button will display this menu.
The Blog Creation and Edit Screen is a subset of the Novel version. Specifically, a blog doesn’t have a word count, timeline, and doesn’t keep track of time worked.
Editing a blog entry is identical to creating a novel chapter.
Posting a blog entry is identical to posting a Chapter via email. Merely tap the Post button in the Text Entry Screen.
Currently, blogs can only be posted to Posterous, and Facebook (which requires purchase of Journal Mode). This will be expanded in the future.
