The Novel Selection Screen is identical to the opening Writing Selection Screen, but it has a list of all of the novels you've created as part of the Novels group.
Each novel in the list is color-coded by a bubble that shows you the state of the corresponding novel.
A red bubble indicates the novel is In Progress.
A green bubble indicates the novel is Done.
The state of the novel (bubble) is determined by the In Progress/Done setting for the novel on the Novel Creation or Novel Edit Screen.
- Tap the Edit button to bring up the iPhone's delete interface which will allow you to select and delete individual novels, or to reorder the sequence of novels on the screen.
- Tap the Add button to create a new novel using the Novel Creation Screen.
- Tap the Gear button to enter information common to all writing in the Preferences Screen.
- Tap the "i" button to open Auteureist™ About Screen.
- Tap on a specific novel line to start working on the novel. This will take you to the Novel Edit Screen.
- Tap the Backup button to backup ALL of your writing. This will replace any existing backup.
- Tap the Restore button to restore ALL of your writing from the saved backup. NOTE: This will replace all of your current writings with the ones in the backup.
You must restart the app to allow Auteureist™ to use the restored information.
WARNING: RESTORING WILL REPLACE ALL OF YOUR WRITINGS (AND NOT JUST NOVELS). MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU WANT TO RECOVER EVERYTHING
Above the bottom button bar you may see a banner with a message and a red "Go" button.
This will update automatically with the latest information and updates regarding Auteureist™. This is the same information that is displayed on the Password Screen (if iti s enabled).
Tapping the Go button will exit Auteureist™ and open Safari to show you more information about the announcement on the banner.
Tapping the Backup button will bring up the following menu.
