Grammar

Auteureist™ allows you to view and fix grammar errors. NOTE: This option requires an internet connection.

The following is an example of the Grammar screen.

Done - replaces the element’s text with the changes you’ve made on this screen, and closes the grammar check. NOTE: If the element is locked (marked complete) your changes will not be applied to the element.
Recheck - checks the text as it is displayed in this view for grammar errors.
Count Label - displays the current error and the number of errors detected in the current element.
Error type - a label that describes the error.
Current error picker - displays the error you are currently working on. You can quickly jump to any error using this picker.
Dialog - a switch that allows dialog and speech to be ignored in the grammar check. This is useful when your characters use slang or colloquialisms.
Suggestion: if there is a suggestion on how to fix the error, this label and picker are displayed. If you choose one of the suggestions, it will replace the highlighted text when you tap the Accept button.
Skip - skips the current error and advances to the next detected error.
Ignore - skips the current error and advances to the next detected error. The ignored error is removed from the list for this grammar check session so it does not show again in the same session.
Accept - tap this button to accept the current suggestion. The suggestion will replace the highlighted text.
Element Chooser Arrows - this displays the title of the current element, and allows you to move between elements in your project. NOTE: Moving to another element will accept any changes to the current element and replace the element’s text with the current text. NOTE: If the element is locked (marked complete) your changes will not be applied to the element.
Text View - this displays your current element with all errors highlighted in red.
