Journal Settings

The Journal Settings Screen allows you to specify and manage the specifics of your journal.

This screen is a lot simpler than the one for other project types.

  • The Done button will close this screen and save any changes you have made.
  • The Cancel button will close this screen and discard any change you made since the screen was opened.

The General Section:

  • The Title field lets you name this journal.
  • The Category flip-picker lets you choose the type of journal you desire. Currently, the options are:

  • Unknown
  • Daily
  • Travel
  • Project
  • Personal Development
  • Meditation
  • Creativity
  • Planning
  • Gardening
  • Nature
  • Gratitude
  • Eating-Food
  • Reading
  • Dream
  • Other

NOTE: The type of journal has no function apart from tagging the journal. All journals work the same way.

  • The Default / No Default toggle that allows you to specify whether this journal is to be treated as your default journal.
  • The Start Date displays the date on which this journal was created.
  • The Cover button will bring up the photo and camera picker that allows you to select the cover image that will be used when exporting this journal as an ePub. The selected image will also replace the button’s image.
  • The Description field allows you to add a comment about this journal.
  • The Keywords field lets you specify a comma-separated list of keywords or tags that is used in exporting to services that support keywords or tags.
